Essential Job Functions
- Read service manuals and schematics.
- Experience in all terrain vehicle diagnoses and repair.
- Use computers to look up parts and document repairs on equipment
- Work independently with limited supervision
- Through behavior and communication, maintain positive relationships with customers, supervisors, and co-workers.
- Be able to lift, handle parts that weigh up to 50 pounds
- Manage time wisely
Work environment:
- Shop work conditions (indoors with variable tempature and humidity, noise and dirt. Some outside conditions.
- Physical hazards such as small electric hand tools, overhead hoists, changing of parts and equipment to maneuver around.
- Working with hazardous materials, including coolant, solvent, oils, grease, and pressurized gases.
- Workdays up to 10 hours with frequent work on Saturday.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Be able to use a wide range of hand tools
- Have appropriate reading, clerical, and basic math skills. This includes pushing, pulling, lifting, and positioning items.
- Have a good work record, including attendance, safety, performance, and behavior.
- Experience and training in All Terrain Vehicle repair and diagnoses.
